Most issues with the SV826 fall into one of six categories. Try these checks before calling support.
The machine turns off by itself
This is normal: the SV826 auto-shuts after 15 minutes of inactivity to save energy. Press a button to wake it.
No lights at all
- Check the wall outlet with another device.
- Check the mains voltage matches the rating plate (220–240 V).
- Confirm the cable is fully plugged in at both ends.
No coffee comes out
- Is there water in the tank? Refill if needed.
- Is the tank seated correctly?
- Is the capsule fully inserted?
- Is the capsule a Pascucci natural-fiber capsule (not third-party)?
- Is the sliding cover fully closed? This is the #1 cause.
Coffee is not hot enough
- Pre-heat the cup with hot water before brewing.
- Raise the brewing temperature — see Adjusting the brewing temperature.
Capsule does not fit / does not drop
- Switch the machine off.
- Empty the capsule drawer of all spent capsules.
- Make sure no capsule fragments remain in the chamber.
Capsule drawer is stuck
- Switch the machine off.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Slide the top cover backward and forward a few times to release any pressure on the chamber, then try again.
The machine is unusually loud
- Make sure the water tank is full and properly seated.
- If the noise persists during brewing, the pump may be drawing air — top up the tank and try again.
