Use this guide to identify each part of your SV826 — useful when you read the cleaning or troubleshooting articles. SV826 — Parts and Components The 12 main parts 1. Buttons — short coffee and long coffee. 2. Sliding cover — opens to insert the capsule. 3. Upper body — top section housing the brewing unit. 4. Dispensing nozzle — the spout where coffee comes out. 5. Dispensing spout — the visible end of the dispenser. 6. Capsule drawer — collects spent capsules; pulls out from the front. 7. Drip tray grid — sits under the cup. 8. Cup lift — raises small cups closer to the spout. 9. Drip tray drawer — collects drips; pulls out from the front. 10. Water tank lid — covers the water tank. 11. Water tank — 850 ml capacity, removable from the rear. 12. Lower body — base of the machine. Tip: when using espresso cups keep the cup lift in place; remove it when you switch to a mug.

SV826 — Unboxing and First Installation

Three steps stand between you and your first coffee with the SV826. The whole setup takes about 5 minutes. SV826 — Unboxing and First Installation Step 1 — Check the contents Open the box and check that all parts are present. Keep the original packaging — it protects the machine during any future transport or relocation. Step 2 — Position the machine Place the SV826 on a flat, dry, secure surface. Leave a few centimeters of clearance behind it so you can easily remove the water tank. Step 3 — Prepare the water tank 1. Remove the water tank from the rear of the machine. 2. Rinse it under fresh water. 3. Fill it with room-temperature drinking water only, without going beyond the MAX line (850 ml). 4. Reinsert the tank fully into its housing and replace the lid. Do not use mineral water, hot water, or any other liquid in the tank. Filtered or low-mineral tap water at room temperature is ideal. You're ready to switch on.
